Loan Amount
Members are eligible to apply 8 times of gross salary.
Repayment Period
Minimum repayment period shall be between 12 months and 48
months in equal monthly installment
Interest Rate
6% per annum
Search Fee
A sum of $18.00 being bankruptcy search fee at $6.00 each for
the borrower and the 2 sureties shall be deducted from the loan
amount
2 Sureties
The borrower shall provide 2 sureties who are members of the
Society and who are willing to sign jointly or severally as
sureties for the loan. In the event that the borrower defaults in
repayment of the loan, the outstanding loan amount shall be
recovered from the sureties.
Overlapping Loan
Members may apply for a further loan even before the previous
loan is fully repaid. Such overlapping loan shall not be granted
more than three times in a year. In this case, the outstanding
amount will be added to the new loan.
